We here at Star Stoves pride ourselves with using only trees that had to be cut down because of natural or unsafe reasons. All the logs are debarked and seasoned or kiln dry to insure all star stoves are pest free. The star stoves are in elevated storage until moisture content is below 50 percent before being selected.We're glad to be a Certified SC member
